Welcome to Jeeran Holding Website.

The decision of the Boards of directors to register the Company’s shares in the Kuwait Stock Exchange was taken to go along with the national economic latest developments represented by the increase of the financial surplus as a result of the oil prices increases in the international markets and thus to take advantage from these appropriate circumstances to activate the economy and to increase the revenues of the Company.

Jeeran Holding Company has been established on 03.06.2001 for the purpose of owning shares and parts in Kuwaiti and foreign shareholding companies and lending affiliated companies and guaranteeing these companies at a third party as well as to own movables and real estates necessary to perform their activity and to invest the financial surplus in portfolios inside and outside Kuwait. The capital has been increased from Dinars One Million to Dinars 13 Million in 2005 in order to attain these goals.

The Company owns investments of various goals represented in the United Gulf Construction Company and in the investment in companies listed in Kuwait Stock Exchange as well as in some  investment funds in addition to real estate investments. Furthermore, the ownership decision of the United Gulf Construction Company is considered of the long-term strategic investments, whereas the Jeeran Holding Company owned by 100% in March 2004.

Jeeran Holding Company shall focus its activity on finding new investment opportunities, on evaluating them and on the re-structuring in addition to the determination of investments; the company shall be working on owning companies that have an economical feasibility and good operational profits and to subscribe in the building, operation and transfer projects (BOT) elaborated for the privatization of the public services and some of the State institutions. The participation of the Company shall be in providing the financing by increasing whether the capital or the loans.
