By area of expertise, UGCC has vast experience in: Civil Infrastructure – construction and maintenance of sewage, storm water drainage, and potable water supply lines and their associated pumping stations, as well as, telephone and electrical conduits; Roads and Landscaping – construction and maintenance of motorways and suburban roads including sub-base, base course and bituminous asphalt, road marking and signage, Landscaping, bridge maintenance and repair, including specialty work such as epoxy injection: Oil Industry Infrastructure – construction and maintenance of gathering centers, heavy foundations, pipe racks, including structural fabrication erection and foundations, tank farms, pre-engineered buildings, dikes, ditches, roads, curbs, and parking bays for government oil companies; Electro-Mechanical Works – projects involving sewage pumping stations water treatment plants, street lighting for roads and motorways, fore fighting systems, and oil industry piping: Micro-Tunneling – projects including shaft sinking either by concrete rings or concrete piling up to 40 meters deep for pipe diameters ranging from 250 mm to 2000 mm.

UGCC’s numbers speak to our experience and expertise. We have an inventory of over 1428 major pieces of construction equipment and over 2500 professional staff members, covering all fields of construction and engineering. We have completed major projects and currently have more in progress. UGCC’s completed projects are worth over 1 billion US dollars and the value of our current works in progress exceeds 276 million US dollars. Our work has included installing, testing, and commissioning more than 480,000 meters of water and gas pipelines, construction of 152,080 meters of concrete pipeline and 17,500 meters of box culverts, installation of more than 338,500 meters of sanitary sewage gravity and pressure mains, construction of 548 villas, and paving surfaces with more than 2.7 million metric tons of asphalt. We are particularly proud to have installed over 40,000 meters of pipeline of various diameters up to 2 meters using Micro-Tunneling technology. UGCC introduced Micro-Tunneling in Kuwait and is the acknowledge leader in the region in this highly advanced construction technique. UGCC has the capability of Micro-Tunneling diameters ranging from 200 to 2000 mm lines and broken  the world record for the longest drive.

UGCC has made capital investments in factories and plants supporting the construction industry a single layer tile factory, ready mix concrete plants, and asphalt plants. These investments are part of UGCC’s diversified business plan, which focuses on capitalizing on projected growth in the regional construction industry and our expansion into other countries in the Middle East region. Additionally, we are the agents for Hyundai Engineering and Construction and US Pipe in Kuwait .
